Housing 48 individually serviceable Serial ATA (SATA) drives in only 4U of rack space, this high-density solution can store up to 24TB of data, making it an industry leader in density.

Designed around proven Fibre Channel (FC) technology, the 4835 provides ease of deployment and integration into the customer’s existing fabric environment, and is ideally suited to meet the ever-expanding requirements of compliance, VTL, disk-to-disk backup and Content Addressable Storage (CAS).

Xyratex’s innovative enclosure design and internal architecture include redundant hot-swappable components. N+1 power and dual pathing at the drive level to support High Availability (HA) configurations.

A front-mounted LCD display provides real-time statistics and reporting on all aspects of the enclosure. In addition, 48 individual LED lights monitor drive status and health, providing clear fault diagnostics and ease of serviceability.
