Operations - Vendor Controller

• To run the PO consolidations for the vendors under his / her responsibility during MRP to ensure that POs are released and communicated to suppliers in accordance to the established procedures.
• To ensure correct EC level of materials are ordered base on the ECNs released by the Product Engineering team.
• To reconcile the outstanding order with the suppliers after the weekly MRP to ensure that the outstanding order record in the supplier base matches the record in Xyratex.
• To follow up and monitor the delivery commits from the suppliers to ensure that their delivery commits are in line with manufacturing requirements.
• To escalate the materials supply when the supplier commits are not meeting our manufacturing requirements.

• Diploma holder or higher with at least 3 years experience in a similar position ideally in the electronics manufacturing environment.
• Has proven track record of managing suppliers in deliveries in fast moving industries.
• SAP conversant
• Good communication skill, spoken and written in English.
