Automation – Based on 25 years' industry experience and more than 7,000 systems shipped, Xyratex automation delivers in-process HDDs and components to process, test, and measurement equipment at a rate of 10 million parts per day worldwide. Automation is designed to be modular and extendable, allowing customers to evolve the process, test, and measurement equipment served by the automation system.

Infrastructure – The equipment infrastructure is designed to allow core product technology elements to be upgraded or added with minimal disruption and downtime. This “upgrade in place” approach means that customers can extend their investment in capital equipment across multiple product generations, maximizing capital productivity. Infrastructure is designed to make maximum use of factory floorspace; maximizing customer capacity and lowering overall manufacturing cost.

Product technology – Xyratex technology is grounded in 25 years of innovation in products to serve the HDD head, HDD media & substrate, and HDD assembly & integration industries. Product expertise encompasses a broad and deep IP portfolio.
